MARINE OPERATOR/ 2ND OFFICERS VACANCIES

Key tasks and Responsibilities
The Marine Operator has the following responsibility and key tasks:
Perform and ensure that all marine operations are carried out safely and efficiently;
Assist in cargo storing and offloading, crude oil washing, ballast operations;
Monitor Unit and export tanker positions;
Monitor weather conditions;
Monitor communications;
Use the Maintenance Management System;
On-the-job-training of all subordinates under his supervision;
Ensure the Work Permit system is controlled and adhered to as per requirements of the system;
Ensure that all tests and inspection routines on marine equipment are carried out;
Prepare required reports and maintain appropriate documentation;
Member of Emergency Response Team;
Monitor Safety Zone and control of traffic in vicinity.
Monitor CCTV
Additionally may be assigned responsibilities:
Assist in Support vessel handling;
Assist in Lifting Operations;
Assist in Helicopter operations;
Assist with the waste management and oily water storage and handlingM;
Inspect and test GMDSS radio equipment.
Qualification requirements
STCW functions
Certificate: national and Flag State;Officer in charge of the Navigational Watch , unlimited.
Education
In accordance with STCW-78/95 A II/1 and flag state requirements.
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience as watch keeping officer or marine operator. Can be replaced with at least 2 years former experience on FPSO or other offshore installations in other marine positions.
